Project 3
This project is really cool. First, I had a shot of a girl that will be added into the helmet suit. So to get the helmet to follow the girl head, I had to tracked it inside of Syntheye.
Once I got the head tracking correctly, I brought it into Nuke and started to attached the helmet to the girl head. All the models was provided to me by Full Sail, but I did use my own textures. This project was very challenging since we had to write our own script. For me, writing script isn't a strong point, but I learned a ton about the process. I really enjoyed this project and I have tons of ideas and projects that I can used to apply this technique to.
Final Project
Here is my Final project. I used Photoshop, Syntheye, and Nuke to do this project. I have learned a lot in photoshop on how to convert a daytime scene to a nighttime scene.
First, I was given a shot from the Film Department. The director wanted this shot to be a night shot, in Baltimore MD, on a warm spring night. He also wanted the building on the left to be gone. Once I got the shot, I used camera tracker in Nuke to get the motion that the director wanted. Then I started some basic block outs. I used the pano stitch technique and rendered out a still image of the shot with all the angles that I needed. Next I took the pano stitch into Photoshop and started to convert the scene from day to Night. I also added some different elements for the director so the shot will look more real. Once the photoshop is finished, I took the shot back into Nuke and attached it to the camera trackers. Overall, I am very happy how this turned out.
